Squalicum girls’ soccer wins 7-0

Kim Hazlett and Kim Dorr trumped Mount Baker’s defense as Squalicum girls’ soccer won 7-0 on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at Mount Baker High School.

“Squalicum was a fantastic team, well coached, broke down our defensive line,” Mount Baker coach Jason Jorgensen said in a phone interview.

Hazlett and Dorr each scored three goals for Squalicum and Kendra Steele also scored a goal.

Both teams play on Thursday, Oct. 1. Squalicum goes against Lynden Christian at 7 p.m. at Civic Stadium. Mount Baker plays at Burlington-Edison at 6 p.m.
