Sehome and Burlington-Edison girls’ soccer tied 2-2 on Thursday, Sept. 22, at Whatcom Community College.
“They had Edie Breckenridge who is a good and fast scorer and (Sehome’s defense) did a really good job of blocking her up,” Sehome coach Andria Fountain said in a phone interview. “Ilana Pechthelt and Maddy Hooker did a great job and my goalie did a great job of making making some wonderful saves.”
Anna Miller and Hannah Moore, both freshman, scored the two goals for Sehome.
Sehome plays again at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24, at Mount Baker High School.
