Bellingham earns shutout 8-0 victory over Nooksack Valley

Bellingham won 8-0 against Nooksack Valley on Tuesday, Sept. 22, at Nooksack Elementary.

“Kylie Clark played a very inspired game today,” Bellingham coach Mark Wright said in a phone interview. “She was really under control and Paige McAtee, those girls did a very nice job organizing the back group.”

Morgan Jones and Azriel Kunchick each scored two goals. Ali Krell, Brooke Baker, Kayla Heidenreich and Peyton Schwinger also scored goals.

Both teams play again on Thursday, Sept. 24. Bellingham plays Ferndale at 7 p.m. at Civic Stadium and Nooksack Valley hosts Meridian at 4:30 p.m. at Nooksack Elementary.
