Blaine girls’ soccer ties Sedro-Woolley 3-3
Ashley Quesada scored all three goals for Blaine girls’ soccer team in a 3-3 tie against Sedro-Woolley on Thursday, Sept. 17, at Pipeline Fields.
“I think both teams were playing with a lot of intensity from the start,” Blaine coach Kelly Tuski said in a phone interview. “Makayah Veliz was playing center mid and she definitely stood out.”
Sedro-Woolley’s forwards kept Blaine’s defense on their toes and much of the game was played center field, Tuski said.
Blaine plays at Granite Falls at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19.
