Squalicum’s prep girls’ soccer team continued its preseason dominance with a 6-0 win over city rival Sehome on Saturday, Sept. 12, at Civic Stadium.
Braden Hilleary kicked things off in the first minute and scored a second-half goal, Kim Hazlett tallied two goals and Payton Fowler found the net twice. Kim Dorr also put one on the board.
“It really helps return a majority of offensive players,” Kish said of the early-season showings. “They’re doing a nice job, being very unselfish and setting each other up for nice goals.”
The Storm will kick off Northwest Conference play against Nooksack Valley on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at home.
