Peterson has yet to formerly accept the offer, saying in a message on Monday, April 25, “I am not sure yet. I am still deciding, but it is definitely an option.”
Peterson finished second in the Northwest to Lynden’s Jordan Wittenberg with 784 yards receiving last fall. He had 33 receptions, averaging 23.8 yards per catch, and scored nine touchdowns. He also kicked 45 extra points and four field goals to help the Storm win their first NWC title and advance to the Class 2A state quarterfinals and was selected the NWC’s Most Valuable Player by the league’s coaches.
Peterson, who also plays soccer, has six goals so far this spring, after leading the Storm with nine as a junior.
