Blaine junior kicker/punter Kyle Sentkowski will leave this weekend to represent the United States in the International Bowl.

Sentkowski was one of 58 high school football players nationwide selected to play on the U-18 national team, which will play Canada Feb. 3 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The game will be streamed online on ESPN3.

Sentkowski booted 28 extra points last fall for the Borderites and had a 30-yard field goal in Week 4 against Sehome.

Eastside Catholic linebacker Noah Failauga is the only other player selected to the U-18 team from Washington state. He also was the only listed punter or kicker on the team.
