Lummi moves its 1B first-round football game to Saturday

All four first-round state football playoff games involving Whatcom County teams are now scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 14, as Lummi on Tuesday, Nov. 10, announced a change to its Class 1B showdown with No. 5 Evergreen Lutheran.

The game will now be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Interlake High School in Bellevue.

Meridian also announced the time of its Class 1A first-round game against Hoquiam, which will start at 4 p.m. Saturday at Stewart Field in Aberdeen.

Squalicum and Mount Baker will wait until 6 p.m. to kick off their games. Squalicum will host Chehalis W.F. West at Civic Stadium in the Class 2A State Payoffs, while Mount Baker will travel to Kalama for the first round in the 1A state bracket.
