Mount Baker’s Schleimer honored by WIAA for accomplishment

Mount Baker High School football player Jed Schleimer was selected by the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association as one of the Athletes of the Week.

Schleimer ran for a state record in all classifications with 521 yards. He had six touchdowns in the game.

In recognition of his accomplishment, Schleimer received a congratulatory letter from WIAA Executive Director, Mike Colbrese, a commemorative WIAA State Athlete of the Week T-shirt, and a certificate. Winners are also posted to the WIAA website at www.wiaa.com
