Question: How did you first start playing football?
Answer: I started playing when I was a freshman just to try it.
Q: What do you like most about playing football?
A: The contact.
Q: What is your favorite part of game night?
A: Having the whole school come out to watch and support us.
Q: What is your favorite football memory?
A: Freshman year was the best. We didn’t do great, but it was good times.
Q: What is your favorite play to run on game night and why?
A: Fire, because it involves scoring.
Q: Who is the funniest guy on your team and why?
A: Kyle Hofstetter, because he’s always saying how he’s not going to be at practice
Q: What is your usual/favorite pregame meal?
A: Whatever my mom made the night before and maybe a sleeve of thin mints or two.
Q: Do you have any pregame rituals/superstitions?
A: I always tie my left shoe tighter that my right.
Q: Is there a reason you chose your jersey number?
A: 17, for James 1:17.
Q: What position, other than the ones you currently play, would you like to try and why?
A: I’d like to be tackle, so I could get on the line.
Q: What drill do you dislike running the most in practice?
A: The warm up is very dislikable; it’s long.
Q: Do you root for the Huskies or Cougars and why?
A: I don’t really follow them, but I found a nice Washington State shirt at Goodwill once.
Q: Who is your favorite NFL player and why?
A: K.J. Wright, because he’s an OLB for the Seahawks
Q: What do you think is the best sports movie and why?
A: “Miracle,” because USA!
Q: What other sports do you like to play?
A: I play soccer.
Q: What do you plan to do after you are done with high school?
A: Not sure.
Q: What other hobbies do you have?
A: I’ll whistle.

A: “Life is a Highway”

A: “Monk,” because it’s gold.

A: FIFA.

A: My favorite is Physics, because we break for lunch in the middle, and my least is art — I can’t draw.
