Meridian High School will offer presale tickets for Friday’s football game against Nooksack Valley from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Sept. 28-29, according to an email from Trojan athletic director Bryant Michaelson.

Tickets will cost the same as they do at the gate, which openes at 5:30 p.m. Friday, but those who purchase presale tickets won’t have to wait in line.

Michaelson said Meridian is expecting a larger crowd than normal, in part because the game will feature two unbeaten teams ranked in the top 10 in Class 1A with a pair of quarterbacks – Meridian’s Simon Burkett and Nooksack Valley’s Casey Bauman – that have already committed to NCAA Division I colleges next year.

In addition, Meridian host its Mini-Cheer night and a “Gold Out” event to bring attention to childhood cancer.
