Lynden’s King to play at Peninsula College
Lynden guard Noah King has signed a letter of intent to play for Peninsula College next year.
King received offers from some NAIA schools, including Northwest University, but opted to attend Peninsula.
“I got a good vibe from the coaches, and they have some really good experience,” King said. “(Peninsula coach Mike Freeman) said he liked my game and told me I have a good chance at some playing time.”
King averaged 9.8 points per game last season and was a second-team All-NWC selection in helping the Lions place third at state.
The Lions senior hopes to transfer to play at a four-year college after his two years at Peninsula and wants to study sports marketing and psychology.
