Two senior Whatcom County basketball players and a former Meridian standout are set to continue their playing careers in college.
Lynden Christian point guard Josiah Meppelink, who averaged 6.2 points per game and was a tremendous floor leader and defender, will play at British Columbia’s Trinity Western University.
Blaine big man Shaq Woods, who averaged 17.5 points and was instrumental in leading the Borderites to the district tournament, will play at Edmonds Community College.
Alex Martin, who was known for his tremendous scoring ability during the 2014-15 season, is slated to play for Whatcom Community College next season.
