Lynden Christian’s Bomber selected Class 1A Coach of the Year

Second-year Lynden Christian girls’ basketball coach Brady Bomber was selected the Class 1A Coach of the Year by the Washington State Girls’ Basketball Coaches Association at the All-State Games Saturday, March 19, at King’s High School.

Bomber led the Lyncs to the 11th state title in program history and a 25-2 record. The Lyncs are 47-7 in two years under Bomber.

Nooksack Valley coach Shane Wichers, who led the Pioneers to a fifth-place trophy earlier this month, coached the Class 1A All-Stars to an 87-81 victory over the Class 2A All-Stars in Saturday’s games.
