Boys’ basketball roundup: Kingma leads Mariners over Red Raiders
The Sehome boys’ basketball team won 71-61 over Bellingham in the final game of the season and a Northwest Conference clash on Tuesday, Feb. 9 at Sehome High School.
Leighton Kingma led the Mariners with 24 points, Marcus Montag followed with 17 and Austin Roberts added 12 points.
Johnny Larson led Bellingham with 28 points, Jake Chamberlin added 11 points and Zach Nolan had seven points.

Ferndale 60, Burlington-Edison 52: Austin Honeycutt led Ferndale with 21 points, Sky Freeman followed with 15 and Garett Holmes added 11 points in a Northwest Conference victory at Ferndale. Trey Lopez led Burlington-Edison with 18 points and Caleb Sheldon had 12 points.
