Boys’ basketball roundup: Lyncs roll past Borderites
Lynden Christian boys’ basketball team won 79-46 in a Northwest Conference game against Blaine on Thursday, Jan. 28.
Zach Roetcisoender led with 29 points for the Lyncs. Jake Poag followed with 15 points.
“Zach Roetcisoender is just a great all around player,” Blaine coach Shaun pile said in a phone interview. “He had 22 points in the first half.”
Shaq Woods led Blaine with 13 points.
Next, Lynden Christian plays at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 30, at Nooksack Valley High School. Blaine hosts Meridian at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 2.

Mount Baker 78, Bellingham 33: Keenan Gray had 15 points to lead Mount Baker to hold and early lead over Bellingham for a conference win. Timothy Soares added 14 points.
Lummi 62, Providence Classical Christian 26: Trazil Lane had 26 points to lead the Lummi Blackhawks to a victory over Providence Classical Christian. Mike Washington added 10 points.
