GIRLS’ BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Mounties underclassmen earn win in overtime
Mount Baker won 53-49 in overtime against Anacortes in a conference game on Monday, Jan. 25, at home.

“They went on a run on us but my underclassmen stepped up in overtime and made big plays,” Mount Baker coach Kim Preston said in a phone interview. “Danielle Tyler made a pass to Haylee Malone with seconds left.” Malone scored on the play.
Tyler led with 13 points and four assists for Mount Baker. Emily Brandland followed with 10 points and nine rebounds.
