BOYS’ BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Woods, Adams lead Blaine over Burlington-Edison

Shaq Woods had 21 points and Ben Adams had 19 points, including three 3-pointers to lead Blaine over Burlington-Edison in Northwest Conference action.

Kier Munzanreder added 12 points.

Drew Wesen and Trey Lopez had 19 points to lead the Tigers.

Nooksack Valley 69, Sehome 62: Connor Beard scored a game-high 25 points to lead Nooksack Valley to a Northwest Conference win. Noah Rawls had 15 points, and David Flores chipped in 14 on four 3s. Sehome was led by Leighton Kingma’s 24 points, but the Mariners hurt themselves by comitting 20 turnovers.

Orcas Christian 44, Lummi 36: For the second straight night, the Blackhawks fell short. Trazil Lane scored 16 points and Mike Washington tallied eight but Lummi lost its legs in the fourth quarter and broke down defensively.
