BOYS’ BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Red Raiders get by Marysville-Pilchuck behind efforts of Hofstetter

Bellingham jumped out to a quick start and then held off Marysville-Pilchuck for a 65-47 nonconference victory on Saturday, Dec. 5, at home.

Kyle Hofstetter dropped 22 points but was even more impressive on the defensive side of things.

“He just had an all-around great game,” Bellingham coach Brad McKay said in a phone interview.

The Red Raiders scored 39 points by halftime and only allowed 16 in the second half. Jonny Larson also added 18 points.
