BOYS’ BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Hofstetter leads Bellingham to win over Sehome

Kyle Hofstetter had 21 points, Austin Shenton added 16 points and Zach Nolan had seven points and 12 rebounds as the Bellingham boys’ basketball team earned a 55-48 victory Thursday, Dec. 3, over Sehome at home.

Bellingham coach Brad McKay said the Red Raiders, who had a few injured players, had to dig deep for the win.

“We really just gutted it out, I thought,” McKay said in a phone interview. “Kyle Hofstetter was really a steadying force for us. I also thought we got a great lift off the bench by Julian Franklin and Jack Lewis-Clarke.”

Leighton Kingma had 15 points to lead the Mariners and Logan Deboo chipped in with 14 points.
