Beard leads Nooksack Valley past Blaine

Nooksack Valley’s Connor Beard scored 25 points to lead the Pioneers to a 76-52 non-league win over Blaine on Thursday, Dec. 1, at Blaine High School.

Nooksack Valley built a 20-5 first-quarter lead and cruised the rest of the way. Kier Munzanreder led Blaine with 16 points.

“They jumped out right away and shell shocked us to start the game,” Blaine Shaun Pile said in a phone interview. “We tried to climb back in it.”
