Which Bellingham basketball players helped put the game away against Meridian?
Drew McFall led all scorers with 23 points as the Red Raiders earned a 64-51 win over the visiting Trojans Thursday night.
McFall had the game-high in points, but Bellingham’s Spencer Lee scored at the most crucial time as 13 of his 15 points came in the second half when the Red Raiders pulled away.
“It was pretty close in the first half and then Spencer helped us put the game away in the fourth quarter,” Bellingham coach Brad McKay said.
Zac Kinney led Meridian with 15 points. McKay said slowing him down was a priority but that the 19 turnovers his defense forced were a big factor.
