Sehome’s Cameron Tipton and Squalicum’s Ernie Yake were selected MVPs of their teams during their respective team banquets last week.
Yake hit for a .525 average, and Will Nickelson was selected the Storm’s Pitcher of the Year.
Felix Zavisubin was selected Sehome’s Most Valuable Pitcher, finishing with a 2.18 ERA. Kealohi Grondin earned the team’s Best Hitter award, batting for a .378 average.
Sehome finished with a 15-7 record and reached the Class 2A District Tournament, while Squalicum finished 12-8 but did not qualify for the postseason.
