Mal Walton JV baseball tournament this weekend

The 36th Annual Mal Walton NWC Athletics Junior Varsity Baseball Tournament will take place Friday-Saturday, May 6-7, in Lynden.

Ferndale, Lynden, Meridian, Squalicum, Sehome, Lynden Christian, Sedro-Woolley and Burlington-Edison are competing. Eight team MVP trophies will be awarded, there will be one overall tournament MVP handed out and a trophy for the winning team.

The JV tournament is dedicated to Mal Walton, who committed many years of his life to Whatcom County baseball.
