Nooksack Valley senior softball players Arlissa Oettel, Olivia Berkan and Cassidy Zylstra are expected to sign letters of intent to play softball at Everett Community College next spring, according to an email from Susan Oettel.

The trio have been playing together since they were in middle school and will continue to do so with the Trojans, who finished third in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges Northern Region in 2015 with a 13-11 record.

Oettel, a shortstop, Berkan, a pitcher, and Zylstra, a first baseman, helped the Pioneers to a 15-9 record last year and come within one win of advancing to the Class 1A State Tournament.
