LC eliminated from state softball tournament after 2 close losses

Lynden Christian’s softball team was eliminated from the Class 1A State Championships after losing two games Friday at Columbia Playfield in Richland.

The Lyncs lost a heartbreaker to Lakeside 1-0 in nine innings for their first loss of the day.

They attempted to bounce back in an elimination game against Zillah, but lost another one-run game 7-6.
