Sehome’s Grahn, Zinns awarded Birger Solberg Scholarships
Sehome’s Devin Grahn and Warren Zinns have been selected the 2015-16 Birger Solberg Scholarship winners.
Grahn was a four-year letter winner in girls’ soccer and basketball and played for the tennis team while maintaining a 3.57 GPA. She plans to attend Cal Lutheran University to major in Elementary Education and compete in soccer.
Zinns played football for his four years at Sehome and maintained a 3.92 GPA. He plans to attend Gonzaga, where he will major in Biochemistry and pre-denistry.
The scholarship is named in honor of longtime Sehome teacher and coach Birger Solberg and is awarded based on all-around excellence in academics, athletics and character. It is worth $4,000.
