Meridian’s Campfield commits to Shoreline

Meridian pitcher Derek Campfield has signed his national letter of intent to play for Shoreline Community College next year.

The Trojans senior has established himself as one of the Northwest Conference’s premier pitchers the past few years and was an All-NWC second-selection last spring.

Campfield was integral in helping Meridian reach the Class 1A State Tournament a year ago and should assume the position of staff ace this spring.
