Ferndale baseball duo sign letters of intent

Ferndale baseball players Kyler Schemstad and Kyle Sandstrom signed national letters of intent Wednesday, Jan. 13, to play college baseball.

Schemstad, a standout left-handed pitcher, has committed to play at Shoreline Community College. Sandstrom, one of the Northwest Conference’s top outfielders, has comitted to play at Lower Columbia Community College.

Both were pivotal in helping the Golden Eagles reach the Class 3A State Tournament last spring and again should have big roles this season.
