Following a freshman season that saw her win Northwest Conference and Class 2A Northwest District titles and finish second at state, Bellingham’s Annika Reiss was selected the All-Northwest Conference Runner of the Year by the league’s coaches.

Reiss never finished lower than second during the high school season, including at state, where she turned in a time of 18 minutes, 31.7 seconds to finish less than three seconds behind Spokane East Valley’s Brittany Aquino.
