QUOTABLE
Auburn’s Avery Hansen on the team’s 20-0 run to open the game: “We had a plan of what we were going to do, and our sets were working really well. I feel like we just came out calm and confident because we already knew how they play.”
Camas guard Keirra Thompson on the team’s preparation: “We’ve been here before, coming off of (a state championship) win last year and putting tough games on our schedule. I think our team was ready for this from the start, and there wasn’t a doubt that we were going to win that game.”
Glacier Peak’s Brynna Pukis on denying Union star Brooklynn Haywood the ball: “She can’t score if she doesn’t get the ball. So, might as well start there.”
