Tahoma High School defensive end prospect Amandre Williams attended the Huskies’ fall camp practice on Sunday morning, and he apparently liked what he saw.
Williams used his Twitter page a short while ago to announce a commitment to the Huskies. He becomes the 11th known player to commit to UW in the 2016 recruiting class, and the third from the state of Washington.
Williams (listed at 6-foot-3, 225 pounds) also plays quarterback for Tahoma, but is being recruited by the Huskies as a defensive player. Scout.com rates him as a 3-star prospect, and lists offers from Oregon, California, Utah and Boise State, among others.
Here are his junior season Hudl highlights.
