WWU places 29 among GNAC Academic All-Stars
Western Washington University placed 29 student-athletes, 12 men and 17 women, on the 2015 Great Northwest
Athletic Conference Track and Field All-Academic Team announced Wednesday, May 13, by the conference office.
The Vikings tied with Northwest Nazarene for the most academic selections.
Nine of the WWU honorees were repeaters, led by two-time choice Katie Reichert, a communications studies major with a 3.54 grade point average.
Maddy Jalbert, a biochemistry major, leads the Viking contingent WWU with a 3.94 GPA. She is followed closely by Jasmine McMullin, an English literature major with a 3.90 GPA.
