Continuing its streak of going to regionals every year since becoming a NCAA Division II member, the Western Washington University men’s golf team earned the No. 10 seed in the West Region and will compete in the South Central/West Regional beginning Monday, May 4, at Vallejo, Calif.
Playing host to the three-day, 54-hole regional which will be held at the Hiddenbrooke Golf Club is Cal State East Bay.
The appearance is the 17th straight for the Vikings.
A total of 108 student-athletes from the West and South Central regions will compete for an opportunity to advance to the NCAA II National Championships on May 18-22 at the Rock Barn Golf & Spa in Conover, North Carolina. Each region qualified 10 teams and four additional golfers.

Five squads from the 20-team regional and the top two individuals not on a qualifying team will advance to the nationals.
