Three Vikings are GNAC Academic All-Stars

Three members of the Western Washington University softball team have been named Great Northwest Athletic Conference Academic All-Stars as announced by the conference office on Wednesday, April 22.

The trio includes pitcher Shayna Adelstein, catcher Lynsey Amundson and second baseman Kali Patterson.

Adelstein, a sophomore from Tucson, Ariz., is maintaining a 3.36 grade point average. She has a 3-5 record this season.

Amundson, a sophomore from Arlington, has a 3.33 GPA. She is batting .273 with three home runs and has a .980 fielding average.

Patterson, a sophomore from Bonney Lake, is a kinesiology major with a 3.20 GPA. She leads the Vikings with a .374 (34 for 91) batting average.
