Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest announcers: Who's calling event on ESPN?
The Fourth of July is here, and with it comes the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest. It's been held every year since 1972, with legends such as Joey Chestnut, Miki Sudo and Takeru Kobayashi emerging over the years.
Chestnut and Sudo are still the best of the best. A 17-time Mustard Belt winner, Chestnut ate 70 1/2 hot dogs and buns last year, and he owns the world record with 76 over 10 minutes back in 2021. Sudo, meanwhile, came into Saturday's event with 12 wins, and she came out victorious again this morning with 38.75 hot dogs and buns.
On the men's side, Chestnut faces competition from Patrick Bertoletti, James Webb, Geoffrey Esper and Nick Wehry. Before the men's competition begins, here's a look at who'll be calling the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest on ESPN's broadcast.
