Game 3 Ticket Prices 'Plummeting' Ahead Of Tipoff Tonight
Ahead of Game 3 of the 2026 NBA Finals, ticket prices to the New York Knicks vs. San Antonio Spurs game are "plummeting," according to experts.
Heading into the weekend, the get-in price for Game 3 of the 2026 NBA Finals was north of $7,000. The get-in price for Game 4 was around $11,000. However, ahead of tipoff at Game 3, with President Donald J. Trump appearing, the prices are dropping - and fast.
The get-in price is now less than $4,000. That's nearly twice as low as what it was heading into the weekend.
While Game 3 should be an electric atmosphere, Knicks fans are frustrated. Security is being increased, barriers are being put in place and the watch parties outside of the arena are being cancelled.
Knicks fans are not happy - and it seems like ticket prices are dropping fast as a result.
New York Police announce plans
New York Police Department announced on Monday that there are new security plans in place today.
"Tonight is Game 3 of the NBA finals – an exciting time for New York City – and we want everyone to be able to enjoy the game safely. With tonight's presidential visit, there will be extra security measures in and around MSG that the NYPD and Secret Service have planned together," New York Police announced.
"Starting at 4pm today, vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be closed from West 30th Street to West 35th Street between 6th Avenue and 8th Avenue. No one will be allowed inside the secure area unless you have a ticket to the game, a train ticket, are going to a business inside the area, have credentials, or have some other authorized reason to be there."
It'll be interesting to see what the atmosphere is like.
Game 3 of the 2026 NBA Finals is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. E.T. The game will air on ABC.
