Analysis:

Despite coming off a 4-13 season, it would surprise very few people if the Giants made the playoffs next season.

The team hired one of the top head coaches of the last two decades in John Harbaugh, who built a strong assistant coaching staff with offensive coordinator Matt Nagy, formerly of the Kansas City Chiefs, defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson, and pass-game coordinator Brian Callahan, who recently served was the Tennessee Titans head coach.

New York also bolstered its WR corps with Darnell Mooney, Calvin Austin III, and third-round rookie Malachi Fields, it added talented tight end Isaiah Likely, and it drafted first-round offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa.

The Giants also bolstered their defense with linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, cornerback Greg Newsome CB, first-round edge-rusher Arvell Reese, and second-round cornerback Colton Hood - both of which could be Day 1 starters.

If wideout Malik Nabers doesn't miss more than a few games, the Giants offense behind QB Jaxson Dart and running back Cam Skattebo could be one of the best in the NFC. The defense ranked at the bottom of the league, but with the additions of Edmunds, Newsome, Reese, Hood, safety Ar'Darius Washington, and defensive tackles D.J. Reader and Shelby Harris, they could be much more competitive.

Reaching the playoffs will be tough with the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders in the same division, but reaching double-digit wins and sneaking into the postseason is well within the realm of possibility.
