Lamar Jackson Faces Big Problem With Ravens Biggest Roster Hole

The Baltimore Ravens put the finishing touches on a tumultuous season by missing the playoffs in a regular season finale loss to bitter AFC North rival Pittsburgh during the 2026 season.

Since then the team has seen significant upheaval ,like the loss of longtime coach John Harbaugh, who was fired after 18 seasons, and replaced by Jesse Minter. The team also lost star center Tyler Linderbaum, who signed a three-year, $81 million deal with the Las Vegas Raiders this offseason.

The loss of Linderbaum was listed as the Ravens biggest roster hole in a recent ESPN article. The Worldwide Leader suggested Baltimore now has a “major hole” at the center position.

“The Ravens were unable to retain Tyler Linderbaum, and now have a major hole at the center position. Corey Bullock, a 2024 UDFA, has played a grand total of 13 offensive snaps during the regular season. Jovaughn Gwyn has played 11 snaps in three seasons with Atlanta,” ESPN wrote.

Baltimore has a few different options: the team could move guard Andrew Vorhees over to center or seek a talented free agent like Ryan Kelly, Ethan Pocic or even James Daniels, who played center during his collegiate days at Iowa and initially in the NFL with the Chicago Bears before moving to guard.

Regardless of the eventual solution, Jackson will be playing behind either a new center or an inexperienced one as the 2026 season gets underway.
