Bellingham Bells blank San Francisco Seals 4-0
The Bellingham Bells scored all four of their runs during a second-inning rally and enjoyed a shut-down pitching performance to earn a 4-0 non-league win over the San Francisco Seals on Friday, July 10, at Joe Martin Field.
“We came out aggressive at the plate,” Bells assistant coach Dane Siegfried said in a phone interview. “In the second inning we were able to manufacture some runs and cruised from there.”
Starting pitcher Reagan Todd earned the win and did a great job, Siegfried said, of working out of some jams. He was part of a pitching staff that yielding only three hits and struck out 11.
A clutch two-out, two-run single from Aaron Stroosma keyed the early scoring.
Bellingham faces the Seals again at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at Joe Martin Field
