Presidential politics

The USA has over 300 million citizens. There must be several thousand of that number who would make good, viable candidates for the office of President of the Untied States.

Where are they? Are we to believe that the current candidates still in the running from both major parties are the “creme of the crop” from among us? Is this the best we have to offer?

I suppose those several thousand of the best in America are too wise to desire the presidency. Ah, yes, that must be it.
