Abortion rights

I believe right-wing Republicans wishing to make abortions illegal understand that, if their wish were granted, having an abortion would be a crime.

I find it disingenuous of them to now howl at the suggestion that the one obtaining an illegal abortion, thus committing a crime, would be subject to punishment. I cannot think of any other crime that is free from the threat of punishment.

I believe women are already punished when abortion rights are restricted by the self-righteous legislators and religious zealots in the most backward of our states. Please stand up for women and howl at any suggestion that a woman’s right to choose an abortion be limited in any way.
