This world is a whole lot better with “thank you.” Whenever I shop I take note of the teller’s name and write to the store with positivity and praises. We need to be nice.
Approximately one month ago, I was going to Vancouver and was stopped for speeding. Since then, I am obeying the speed limit. Why? The interaction with the officer was positive. The way he worded his phrases made all the difference, “why are you in a rush, “ and “ I want you to get to your destination safely.” Such excellent interpersonal skills. I now drive safely. This is a big feat as I was a hopeless speeder. Thank you to that constable for his positive way of conveying a message, it made a big difference to me.
