Backs Democrats for ISIS responses
Watching Clinton, Sanders and O’Malley debate, powerfully, calmly and intelligently was a relief after watching the Republicans.
I find their comments on how to defeat Isis even more disturbing and shows they are not qualified to be commander in chief of our country. For example, Ted Cruz claimed he would carpet bomb ISIS. Carpet bomb, Ted? You’ve got to be kidding! First of all, carpet bombing is against the Geneva convention rules of warfare. It would mean we would bomb just about every woman, man and child in any city in which ISIS resides. We would level every mosque, school, hospital and auditorium in the city. We would kill a majority of the population, including any Arab Christians who might be in hiding. And Donald Trump claims he would “bomb the hell out of them.” Contrast this diatribe with how knowledgeable Sanders, Clinton and O’Malley showed themselves to be. They made clear the war against ISIS must and will be won by a complex, not a simple-minded, approach.
