Questions Huckabee about terrorism
I see that Mike Huckabee has called the Colorado Planned Parenthood shooting “domestic terrorism.”
How good of Mr. Huckabee to acknowledge this, now my question is does he support treating domestic terrorists the way we’ve treated foreign ones? Does he support holding the Colorado shooter indefinitely without trial? Using “enhanced interrogation” to find out what other targets the shooter has in mind? What other plots that with the right intelligence will be foiled if we treat the Colorado shooter as we’ve treated treated suspected foreign terrorists?
I also challenge Mr. Huckabee to say that the shooter is an example of radical Christianity and call for tough measures against radical Christianity. Perhaps the GOP will advocate surveillance of Christians as some of the presidential candidates have called for surveillance of Muslims. We might have to look at closing down some of these Christian churches that preach radical Christianity and incite their congregations to violence. Perhaps a registry or database of Christians is in order, as some in the GOP have called for against Muslims.
It would be interesting to find out the answers to these questions, but I fear I might make myself a target for violence by merely posing them.
