Found GOP debate unpleasant, unhelpful

I read this morning that the GOP is suspending all future debates with NBC, complaining that the mediators used “gotcha questions.” Candidates need to show they can deal with tough and uncomfortable questions if they want to “appear” presidential. I watched many hours of the Benghazi hearing where Hillary Clinton was grilled for 11 hours without her flinching or becoming defensive. Many questions were “gotcha” questions; questions that I considered unfair and divisive. I believe the GOP can dish it out but they sure can’t take it. The candidates during the Democratic debate remained composed, stayed on topic and offered substantial information and it was enjoyable and enlightening. The GOP accuses the media of having a liberal bias. So what is Fox news? I think the media has had a right-wing bias for years. I believe the GOP candidates were anything but truthful, and spent a lot of time attacking each other. Claiming that you are being victimized by the media does not give you credibility. It was part of Richard Nixon’s downfall. If anything, the GOP candidates are their own worst enemies. Ben Carson, who earlier bragged about stabbing a person in his young volatile days; Trump loudly insulting many members of our society in his bombastic way; the candidates attacking each other. I found it very unpleasant and reaffirmed for me why I can never support any of those candidates.
