Suggests donations to DeJong memorial fund
The sadness of the passing of “Hub DeJong” was not easy to take when you think about all the years of leadership and coaching he has done for our youth of Whatcom County and our Washington state Babe Ruth program. I strongly encourage everyone to support the “Hub and Esther DeJong Memorial Fund” c/o Corrine DeJong 1103 East Grover Street, Suite B, Lynden, WA. 98264.
Hub is now in a very special league now with these other great baseball coaches: Mal Walton of Bellingham, Henry Zender of Deming, Jerry Walton of Blaine, Bill Prink of Nooksack, I’m sure they gave Hub a warm welcome.
Without doubt these men are truly in “A League of Their Own.”
