Support Watson for Ferndale mayor
As longtime residents of the community of Ferndale we encourage you to vote to elect Cathy Watson as our next mayor. She brings a wealth of experience, including leadership positions in the military and as a NASA scientist. We believe her leadership abilities and intelligence will be a great asset to our city.
Cathy was selected by fellow council members as mayor pro tem to carry out the mayor’s duties in his absence. The current council believes she is well qualified to carry out the mayor’s duties and so do we.
She has a proven record of being an effective problem solver who can collaborate with all, including those with differing views. Working collaboratively and considering other perspectives before making a decision are qualities we need in our leaders. She has the formal endorsement of the majority of her fellow council members. She also has support within both the labor and business communities.
We appreciate the depth of her understanding of both the challenges and strengths of our community and the integrity that has guided her work and this campaign.
