Blames teen, not police for detention
I am astonished that the situation between the Bellingham Police Department and the young man who was sent to the Northwest Detention Center even graced this paper much less a lawsuit. It seems that the police tried diligently to get information but were given false answers and were therefore forced to take action. No one points out that the boy lied about everything except his name creating this problem.
When do we teach our children to admit they were wrong instead of blaming everyone else?
