Tired of ‘war’ between cyclists and drivers

I’m so tired of people saying that bikes have the right of way. First, I ride and also drive a car. In the last few weeks bikers have run stop signs, cut me off turning left in front of me from the right and do not use signals. I’ve seen them ride three or four abreast on county roads, backing up traffic because we cannot pass. Bikers seem to think they own the road, which they do not. Bikers should learn the rules of the road and follow them if the want respect A few bad apples are spoiling it for all. As for walkers, I believe our neighbors from the north think you are fair game. Yes, walking in Bellingham is taking your life in your hands. But it is not just Americans not following the rules of the road. Think before you step out in front of a car no matter if you have the right of way — you are no match for a car. I will respect walkers and bikers when they follow the rules and respect the drivers. Enough of this war.
